POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sales Manager supervises and trains Mortgage Consultants while originating mortgage loans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• • Oversee and monitor performance standards for their team to include phone time, applications, locks, and fundings in accordance with Consumer Direct’s minimum production requirements.
  • Provide daily coaching to the team on sales techniques, product training, process updates, and other various topics to drive execution.
  • Lead by example by maintaining personal production via execution from CMG’s marketing efforts and/or personal referral sources.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all applicable regulatory compliance requirements and CMG policies and procedures.
  • Manage customer escalations to ensure timely and proper resolution in accordance with CMG policies and procedures. Coach the team where appropriate to mitigate future occurrences.
  • Analyzes sales statistics and formulate strategies to assist Loan Officers in converting more opportunities to funded loans.
  • Ensure loan quality standards are met and aligned with investor requirements and CMG standards for underwriting submission.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting to the VP of Consumer Direct on sales team performance to include production, efficiency, and compliance results.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Prefer a minimum of ten (5) years in Mortgage Industry with at least 2 years in Mortgage Origination management.
• 4-year degree preferred.
• Proven leadership and motivational ability.
• Exceptional sales and presentation skills.
• Strong operations and computer systems exposure.
• Proficient in Microsoft programs, Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced fluid environment.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality required.
